Your chiropractor in Amsterdam
Hello, I’m Francis – a chiropractor since 2003 with a passion for natural health, recovery, and personal growth.

I believe that true health is more than just the absence of symptoms. It’s about resilience, balance, and the confidence that your body has the innate ability to heal.

A Holistic Vision on Health
At Optimum Chiropractie, in the heart of Amsterdam, I help people live healthier, more energetic, and more balanced lives through gentle and focused chiropractic adjustments that support the nervous system.

My approach is always holistic, vitalistic, and rooted in deep respect for the body's self-healing capacity. I believe every body possesses inner potential; my role is simply to help activate it.
About Me – Francis Durocher
I grew up in a small town in Northern Canada, surrounded by forests, lakes, and nature. This early connection to the outdoors deeply shaped my view on health.

When my father was diagnosed with MS at a young age, I began a quest for a healthier lifestyle and a different perspective on care. I wanted to go deeper, to the core of well-being. This led me to chiropractic: an approach that is natural, preventative, and forward-looking.

Since then, chiropractic care has been part of my daily life – alongside healthy nutrition, movement, and meditation. To support my vitality, I also practice regular fasting. In my free time, I enjoy reading, archery, or enjoying nature during walks with my dog. I also love getting out on the water with my paddleboard to stay physically and mentally balanced.
Education and Experience
I graduated in 2003 from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and gained extensive work experience in Canada and France before settling in the Netherlands. To deepen my knowledge of the human body, I completed postgraduate studies in Functional Neurology at the Carrick Institute.

Since 2007, I have proudly called Amsterdam my home – a city where I live and work with great pleasure, seeing daily how chiropractic care improves my clients' quality of life.
Why I Do What I Do
I believe everyone has the right to a life of movement, freedom, and fulfillment. Children deserve a strong and healthy start. Adults should be able to keep growing, stay active, and live meaningful lives for as long as possible.

I am grateful every day for what chiropractic has meant for my own health, and I feel privileged to guide others on their path to a more vital life.

"My favorite approach to the continuous improvement of our health is a holistic, vitalistic and natural approach. This approach respects the body and increases the body's regenerative capacity, which each of us has."
